Crocodiles Play

Robert Heidbreder lives in Vancouver, and has been writing children’s books for more than two decades, following a distinguished career as a primary school teacher.

When school’s out, crocodiles play! Children will be delighted with the wacky antics of these mixed-up crocs. Whether it’s ping-pong with a basketball or tag with tennis racquets, crocodiles and readers alike will have sheer silly fun.

Lifelong Vancouverite Rae Maté worked as a teacher before dedicating herself to painting and illustration. She maintains a professional studio, teaches children art at the Arts Umbrella, and divides her time between Vancouver and Hornby Island.
