Discover the significant role Chinese Canadians played in our country’s history. Located in the Chinese Cultural Centre in Vancouver’s Chinatown, the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Chinese Canadians and fostering an appreciation of traditional and contemporary Chinese arts. Located on the complex’s second floor, the Chinese Canadian Military Museum is the only museum in Canada dedicated to preserving the history of Chinese Canadians in Canada’s Armed Forces.

Opened in August 1998 the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum hosts a permanent photo exhibition “From Generation to Generation – History of Chinese Canadians in British Columbia” and temporary Chinese art exhibitions. Chinatown walking tours, guided exhibition tours and Chinese arts and culture workshops are available year round.
